What were the Patriots thinking?
I hope Tom Brady tears his ACL in the first game again and then the Patriots have no one to run there offense.
They pretty well just gave away next years super bowl to Kansas City.
Well lets see….what did this trade bring to the Pats? The 34th pick in this draft and 21 million in cap relief to sign other players. I bet you thought they were doomed last year and b!tched and moaned that they were going to Cassel in the first place. Lets keep things in perspective here….they drafted O’Connell in the 3rd round a couple years ago and have stated they felt he was a better QB than Cassel in the first place (there were thoughts that the Pats might cut Cassel and use O’Connell before deciding to try Cassel first based on his experience with the offense….remember he sucked during pre-season).
Giving the Super Bowl to the Chiefs….have you lost your mind. They Chiefs have some serious holes to fill, maybe Cassel and Vrabel get them closer to .500 but the playoffs still seem far away for KC.
